These cute bowls are perfect for salsa (a favorite of mine). They could be used for nuts, candy, or a small helping of ice cream. Their size makes them great prep bowls. These bowls are a vibrant shade of purple, and could also make a happy home for small keepsakes or rings.

These pieces are made with Rods Bod clay on my potters wheel. A subtle spiral shape is pressed into each bowl, giving fingers a nice place to rest and making each form a bit unique. The bowls have a flat foot, pressed in as the piece was thrown.

These bowls were glazed in Emily Purple glaze, with White Liner glaze on the inside. They were fired to cone 10 in reduction, in a gas fueled kiln.

Dimensions: Approximately 4 1/2" across the lip and 2 3/4" tall. These bowls easily hold 8 ounces or more. Please note, these are handmade objects and the measurements are not exact. Expect some subtle variation in the size or color of each piece.

Note for this glaze and clay combo specifically: The amount of brown speckles in the white portion of the bowl will vary from firing to firing, however the actual purple and white glaze colors are pretty consistent.
